How All Terrain Pram Was The Most Talked About Trend Of 2024

Mamas & Papas All Terrain Prams

All terrain prams are pushchairs that can be used on rough surfaces such as cobblestones, woodland paths and fields with muddy soil. They usually have large rubber tyres for all-terrain use, unlike regular pushchairs which use air-filled tyres that can easily be flat.

These seats are usually reversible (parent or world facing) and can accommodate a carrycot, or a car seat. They should be lightweight and easy to fold so that they are convenient for travel.

1. Mama & Papas Ocarro

The Mamas & Papas Ocarro is an ideal pushchair for families looking for an all-terrain pram. It's large and sturdy with dual suspension, large wheels and a large lying-flat seat that promotes a healthy sleep.  pushchairsandprams  comes with cup holders as well as a rain cover and an umbrella for sun-filled outings. The Ocarro folds up easily and is easy to move. It takes less than five minutes to fold it and the handle is designed to give you the ultimate control.

The Ocarro offers a wide range of features that will keep your baby happy, including a head cushion and padding for the chest. It also has a variety of recline positions including flat recline for safe napping, and can be used forward or parent facing. It comes with trims that reflect light as well as a built-in ventilation system that keeps baby cool and comfortable.

The design is gorgeous and the materials are luxurious. The brown leather trim around the handles and the bumper bar was my preferred. It's a little heavier than some of the other buggies on test but it feels good quality. This is a great pushchair to use for the park, walks in the countryside and getting on and off public transport.

The Ocarro can be purchased as a four-piece pushchair or as a component of a travel system which includes a carrycot as well as car seat. The Ocarro is safe from birth and includes everything you need to embark on big adventures. The carrycot comes with a lie-flat setting and a magnetic apron which can be folded away quickly and quietly. It has an air vent, a hood and a lie-flat position to keep your baby warm in any weather.

2. Cybex Avi

The Cybex AVI is a stroller for running that allows you and your child to run in comfort. It is lightweight, simple to steer and features a unique frontwheel that can be locked. It is also suitable to be used with any Cybex or Gb infant car seat with the adapters available.

The Avi is also available in a "One Box" option, which includes the frame seat pack, canopy, and frame all in one box. This makes it a breeze to put together and will save your time and money.

This is an excellent choice for parents who are serious about their running and who want to stay active with their babies. It is designed for running with children as young as they are, and can be used with any Cybex or gb car seat. It comes with a quick and easy one-pull system for tightening the harness.

It's sleek and stylish and has air-filled tires. It also comes with a soft, adjustable sports seat for your child. It also has reflective details to improve visibility, and an XL sun canopy that offers UPF 50+ protection.

It is not recommended to use it on rocky or hard terrains, and there is no reclined position for infants. It is only suitable for walking, not for running or jogging.

Genevieve Gregson is a three-time Olympic finalist and a two-time world champion finalist. She is also a running coach for Gregson Running and an Australian record holder. We asked her to test the Cybex Avi stroller and here's what she had to say:

3. BOB Sport Utility

BOB Sport Utility is a stroller that's ideal for off-the-beaten track outdoor adventures. It features a fixed front wheel for more stability when jogging or hiking pneumatic knobby tires on high-impact polymer wheels, and hand brakes for more downhill control. It also features an easy two-step folding system that makes it easy to carry and store. The baby jogger comes with an adjustable handlebar to fit parents of all sizes as well as a large canopy with a peek-aboo window so you can monitor your child. You can pair it with car seats for an infant to create the ultimate travel set-up.

The BOB Sport Utility's biggest disadvantage is its lack of maneuverability. It received an average score of 6 out of 10. It can be difficult to turn in small spaces, such as shops and cafes, as it requires you to tilt it back. The stroller is easy to push on flat surfaces, thanks to its excellent roll and adjustable track.

This stroller features single-action brakes that are simple and sandal comfortable for feet. It also has a deceleration handbrake that helps you slow down your pace while running and relieves the pressure of having to use your feet. The only drawback to this feature is that you have remove the brake lever to activate it which can be irritating when you're running or in the midst of a rush.

BOB has adapters for accessories which allow you to use a variety of infant car seats with the stroller. This is a great option if you have more than one child. It took us 5:24 minutes to fully put together the BOB Sport Utility from packing to being ready to go.

4. Cybex Aton

Cybex is renowned for its premium seats and user-friendly features. This seat is no exception. It is among our most loved infant car seats. This is largely because of its design and the fact that it can be used with all Cybex strollers as well as some from other manufacturers as well to be used as a Travel System. This seat comes with excellent safety features.

In our Infant Car Seats tests The Cybex Aton scores above average in both rear-facing and forward-facing installation and user-friendliness. It has a headrest that adjusts to 11 different height positions and a strap that does not rethread to make it easier to keep the straps in place as your child grows. Cybex seats also have a load leg on the base to limit the chance of a crash to rotate and anti-rebound protection to keep your child in the middle of the seat.

The Aton is iSize-approved right from birth and can be used in conjunction with Cybex Base M for an additional level of security. It also comes with an innovative linear side impact protection that absorbs and redirects forces of a collision away from your infant. Unfortunately, the Aton's narrow shell may not work with smaller cars as well as some other models. The canopy is also small and doesn't have a peek-aboo window.

Another drawback is the price tag. It's a costly seat, especially when you consider that it performed better than the majority of seats we tested. There are many more excellent seats that are less expensive.
